“We have had people overdose on just a quarter of a pill here in this area,” Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force Commander Lt. Jeff Wersal said.
Many users are sometimes unaware of the fentanyl in the illicit drug, which in many cases could result in overdose. Something local law enforcement says is a growing problem.
“Up until 2022, the most fentanyl pills we have seized in this area has been maybe 5 to ten a year. And already in April 2022, we are up to 1,000,” Wersal said. Read the full story here.
